Presqu’ile (pronounced ‘press-keel’) is a family-owned winery in the Santa Maria Valley dedicated to crafting exceptional, cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah. We’re showcasing all three! We will also be pouring two amazing wines from Burgundy; some bubbles and Pinot Noir.

Presqu’ile Chardonnay 2021. Santa Barbara County, California. 

A well-balanced Chardonnay, this bright and refreshing wine is loaded with flavors of Meyer lemon, citrus peel, crushed white flowers, and saline. Pair this bottle with cheese boards, creamy pasta dishes, or a variety of grilled fish. 

Presqu’ile Pinot Noir 2021. Santa Barbara County, California. 

The Presqu’ile Pinot Noir provides a beautiful look into just how well this grape thrives in the region’s soils. Lifted notes of cherries, rose hips, dried orange rind, and sandalwood dominate the wine’s earth-driven palate. Pair with game, veggie burgers, or roasted chicken.  

Presqu’ile Syrah 2020. Santa Barbara County, California. 

This Syrah is made with 35% whole clusters giving it a fun, fruity expression. The wine is fresh, lively, and loaded with flavors of blackberries, dried herbs, bacon fat and lavender. Old World inspired but made with New World fruit.  

Jean-Luc Crémant N/V. Burgundy, France. 

Cremant is a term for sparkling wine made in the same style as Champagne, but not made in Champagne. In blind taste tests, people choose this Cremant over many famous Champagnes.  It’s like a true Champagne at half the cost! Big creamy mousse, with bright citrus and apple fruit. Clean and refreshing.  

Andre Dupuis Pinot Noir 2020. Burgundy, France. 

Pinot Noir from the Macon, a warmer growing area in Burgundy. The estate is run by Andre Dupuis and his son Remi. This wine has great structure, fruitiness and finesse. Lovely fresh red fruit on the nose; notes of sour cherries & strawberries. It’s an amazing Pinot that won’t break the bank.
